Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathua is the venue for 51 st regional sports meet, Kho-Kho boys( U-14 & U-
17),Jammu Region, KVS. In this event Nine Schools and 11 Teams participated. The opening ceremony
was held in Vidyalaya premises in which Sh. Gurnam Singh, Principal, K.V.Kathua lighted the
ceremonial lamp and sought blessings of Goddess Saraswati. This was followed by a colourful cultural
bonanza by the students of K.V.Kathua. He then declared the Sports Meet Open by unleashing
Tricolour balloons.
In this two days tournament from 23.8.2022 to24.8.2022,various schools that are participating are-
K.V.Lakhanpur, K.V. Damana, K.V.Miran sahib, K.V. Samba, K.V.No.1 Akhnoor , K.V.Humama,
K.V.Jodhpur,K.V.Jyotipuram, K.V.1 Udhampur. This is a two days tournament from 23.8.2022-
24.8.2022.K.V Miran Sahib won the U- 17 (Boys) event and K.V Jodhpur, Doda bagged the first
position in U-14 (Boys) event.
