After three years of absence, It’s about time to return to Xadia!
It isn’t easy to believe that it’s been so long since the last new episode of The Dragon Prince. The last time they were released was in November 2019. You’ll be able to gasp…it was November 2019! Despite the long wait, it’s been an enjoyable time worth it for everyone who was involved in the production.
But more to come later. In the beginning, let’s review the people who created the series, what the show is about, and when we left off all of the characters. The Dragon Prince was co-created by Known Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. Ehasz has been involved with animation for quite a while as the writer in charge of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Additionally, she is an editor and writer on Futurama. Richmond is, however, a host to television from games, where he has been most well-known for his work on the Uncharted series. The show is based on half-brothers and human princes Callum and Ezran, along with an assassin from the elves, Rayla, who suddenly team up to defend the dragon prince’s infant, Zym.
While on their quest to bring Zym with his maternal grandmother, the trio discovers themselves in the middle of the conflict that has raged for 1000 years between the kingdoms of humans and the mysterious creatures that inhabit their realm, Xadia. The third season concluded with the leading group reaching their goal of bringing back Zym and ending the long-running wars between the kingdoms. Then, we’re near to knowing what’s next for this series, as Season 4 releases in November!

When and Where Is The Dragon Prince Season 4 Can Watch?
Following a three-year hiatus, The Dragon Prince Season 4 is scheduled to air on Netflix on Wednesday, November 3, 2022. Since it is an exclusive Netflix exclusive and a Netflix exclusive, if you’d like to watch the show once more before its return or catch up on the show before the new season begins, Seasons 1-3 are also available for streaming here as well.

Watch the Released Trailer For The Dragon Prince Season 4
Amid months of teasers and trailers for Season 4, the officially released trailer of Season 4 is finally here and shows how much has changed in Xadia since the last time we visited! We know it’s nearly two years since the epic battle, where humans, dragons, and elves join forces to take on Viren’s army.
They’ve been hard at work in preserving the harmony that has been restored between their kingdoms. However, the trouble is back. Season 4 seems like it will be an exciting and thrilling affair for the characters we love in Xadia, particularly with a concentration on Aaravos, the mysterious Aaravos.
Who’s In the Cast of The Dragon Prince?
In the various realms in Xadia, The Dragon Prince has built an impressive cast of characters over its initial three seasons, with many scheduled to be featured in Season 4. In addition, there’s a fantastic cast of voice actors who help bring these characters to life.
The main ensemble cast comprises Jack De Sena as Callum, Paula Burrows as Rayla, Sasha Rojen as Ezran, Jason Simpson as Viren, Racquel Belmonte as Claudia, Jesse Inocalla as Soren, along with Erik Todd Dellums as Aaravos.
The Dragon Prince’s 7-Season Plan
While Season 4’s release date is a few months away, viewers of the Dragon Prince can rest more content knowing that more episodes will follow it! If you’re not aware of the date, on July 20, 2020, Netflix revealed the exciting news that it was renewing the show not only in Season 4 but also for Seasons 5, 6, and 7. The creators will be able to explore all the plots they planned out in their epic fantasy series.
At the moment, however, Season 4 is an essential advancement in the story since it is titled “The Mystery of Aaravos.” Aaravos is an old Startouch Elf trapped in a magical mirror that has been informing the actions of the series’ villain, Viren. Season 4 could explore the character’s elusive background and intentions for Xadia. Furthermore, Season 4 has also been dubbed The Book of 4: Earth. This follows the pattern of prior seasons being named after “primal sources” in the show, particularly the Moon, Sky, and Sun.

The Dragon Prince Season 4 will feature nine episodes in total. The episodes will likely last from approximately 23 to 32 minutes. So, What’s the actual Story of The Dragon Prince Season 4?
In the trailer, we see the movie trailer as the King of Katolis Ezran’s reign is highly effective as the elves and dragons remain allies with humans. The new season will keep the focus on this plot as there is no doubt the presence of Aaravos is a risky powerful force to be reckoned with. Everyone will need to come in a new way to defeat him.
Callum is in the dumps since Rayla left the scene following the battle, but she’s returning with new tools and capabilities. They’re a famous couple, and it’ll be interesting to find out what happens to bring them back together after a long time and if the fracture between them can be repaired. Also, there’s the issue of Viren, Claudia, and Soren, which is akin to an entire family divided.
Claudia has brought back her father, Viren However, the spell only works for 30 days, and they are forced to search for Aaravos for assistance. Soren, On his own, has found himself a new way to live by being a traitor to his loved ones and refusing help with their shady plots. He may remain part of the Crownguard and work to defend Ezran.
Overall, Season 4 will include a variety of thrilling plotlines to follow along with several intriguing ideas for the show’s intriguingly laid-out future.
