Authorities adopt discriminatory approach towards development of Sidhra: Manjit Singh

Apni Party holds public outreach programme in Ward No 71

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 04, 2022: Apni Party Provincial President, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh today accused authorities for adopting discriminatory approach towards the development of Sidhra.

The Former Minister was addressing an outreach programme organised by State General Secretary Youth Wing, Abhay Bakaya at ward number 71 in Sidhra.

He said that “The Govt pumps funds worth crores for the development of Jammu. But Sidhra still remains a neglected area with little development and poor pace of development.”

He said that the authorities provide basic amenities including road connectivity, clean drinking water, electricity, proper lanes and drains to the people in Sidhra.

Addressing the leaders, he asked the leaders and workers to intensify the outreach programme and make the people aware about the policies and programmes of the party.

He said that the Apni Party is committed to the equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir with the protection of rights for the local people.

“Apni Party’s main agenda is to provide equal opportunities to the people of both the regions and development to them,” he said.

He said that the Apni Party will implement the Social Security Scheme for the benefit of the poor and marginalized sections of the society if it forms the next Govt in Jammu and Kashmir.

He also referred to the Ujjwala scheme and assured that they would provide four cooking gas cylinders to the people every year free of cost, enhance the widow pension up to Rs 5000, 500 units of electricity free of cost to the people of Jammu during summers and 300 units during winter season.

Meanwhile, Abhay Bakaya highlighted various demands with regard to the development and outreach programme so that the party can be strengthened at the grass root level.

Prominent among those who attended the meeting include Provincial Vice President, and Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Provincial Secretary / District President Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, SC State Coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat, Provincial President Youth Wing, Vipul Bali, Provincial President Apni Trade Union, Raj Kumar Sharma, District Vice President Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo, District Vice President Youth Joginder Singh, Provincial Secretary Vishal Jothshi, Provincial Secretary Youth Suhail Khajuria, District General Secretary, Sardesh Rana, District Organising Secretary, Deepak Bradoo, Senior Vice President District Youth Wing, Sandeep Vaid, District Vice President Youth, Abhinav Gupta, District Organising Secretary, Archana Koul, District Secretary Youth, Ankush Dogra, and others.

Meanwhile, Chandji Bhat, G.L. Pandita, Ashok Koul, Vivek Saproo, Bansilal Raina, Manoj Ji, Ravinder Singh, Shadilal, Om Karnath, Bhushalal Pandita, Sonu Putti, Saurav and others also attended the meeting.
