Recently JMC House Meeting was held in Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jammu under the leadership of JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta and Commissioner JMC Rahul Yadav where several issues were raised by Corporators of different areas of the Jammu division.
Corporator Anita Sharma Questions JMC Mayor and Commissioner in House Meeting Regarding Missing Statue in Purani Mandi, Park
Corporator Anita Sharma of ward no 11, Jammu raised her area’s issues and what people of the locality are facing.
In a meeting, she said that there is a park in Purani Mandi, where there is a nameplate for the Inauguration of the foundation stone for the Statue of Jambu Lochan the platform for the Statue is also made but there is no Statue on that place.
She further added that the name plates inauguration was done in 2016 but how?
She requested the house to look into this matter and where the statute is, also she appeal that people who are involved in this should be investigated.
Taking the question put forward by Corporator Anita Sharma into consideration JMC Mayor and Commissioner said that the matter is serious and will be probed and those involved in this will be investigated accordingly.
After the House Meeting, an official has confirmed that the Statue is ready and will be installed as soon as possible and other things will also be done accordingly.
