Cybera Global, a New York-based cybersecurity firm, has raised $5M in capital.
It was managed by Converge VC and New North Ventures with participation from Founder Collective, Swiss VCs Serpentine along with CV VC.
The company will make use of the funds to concentrate on enhancing its strategies to combat cybercrime.
In co-creation with Nicola Staub, CEO, Sudip Biswas, CTO as well as Claudio Staub, CRO, Cyber is focused on offering victims rapid response mechanisms as well as a global watchlist, which allows information to be safely shared with their customers across the financial system, ensuring the accounts and funds can be promptly flagged and dealt with. Cyber has already identified more than 2,000 troublesome accounts.
