Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Rege-Jean Page are the main characters on screen in Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves

Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves trailer is available today. Paramount Pictures revealed the live-action film footage at an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con panel. The film, which stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Rege-Jean Pages, as well as other actors — is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2023, in theaters and includes many classic elements from the gaming tabletop. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was initially released in July 2021. However, it was delayed repeatedly because of the COVID-19 virus and other issues internal to the film, which was eventually resolved on March 2023.

The official trailer to Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves starts with a narration explaining the game’s premise. As a thief, Pine leads a group of adventurers who are rogues through a fanciful journey to find an ancient antique. The lengthy, uninformed explanation reveals that the antique was possessed by supernatural powers that were dark and mystical and were handed to the wrong people. “We weren’t intending to unleash the worst evil the world has ever seen,” it narrates.

Our small group of misfits is charged with recovering it using whatever means are possible. The task ahead is daunting, filled with monsters and gelatinous cubes, magic warriors, mimics, and displacer beasts that serve as obstacles. This Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves trailer then morphs into short shots of the cast members who are not in the film. Rodriguez is an adamant woman, skilled at solving problems with her fists and powerful weapons.

Page – of Bridgerton fame uses sharp blades, and Justice Smith conjures magical spells. Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailer also introduces us to a shape-shifting “owlbear,” played by Sophia Lillis (Sharp Objects, It Chapter Two). The character is a part of the endless conversation and lively dialogue among the protagonists.

Hugh Grant also stars in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and he believes that the film is a “Monty sense of Python” in humor. Director and writer Jonathan Goldstein ( Spider-Man Homecoming and Horrible Bosses) also has plans to launch a D&D series in the coming years. “There will be characters drawn from the mythology too which could provide the basis for several film projects,” he said at the Comic-Con 2022 panel.
