Educational institutions should sow the seed of “nationalism” among their students: Shamsher Singh Manhas

Former Member-Parliament (Rajya Sabha) & Ex-State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir Shamsher Singh Manhas today celebrated Aazadi ka Amrut Mahotsav with the students of Mount Litera Zee School in Municipal Ward No. 61 in Jammu North Constituency.

While interacting with the students, Manhas said Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements.

Manhas said this Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who hold within them the power to enable Hon’ble PM Modi’s vision of activating a New India, fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat,he added.

The Managing Director of Mount Litera Zee School,Parneesh Mahajan, said that Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political, and economic identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” commenced on 12th March, 2021, which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence and will end after a year on 15th August, 2023.

Later, Manhas distributed national flags to the students and urged them to unfurl them at their respective residences on the eve of Independence Day. Prominent among those who were present there were Ms. Natasha Bali, Mandal President (Talab Tillo), Mandal Keshav Chopra, Ravinder Singh & Vishav Bandhu.
