Genshin Impact 2.2.8 release date is rapidly approaching. HoYoverse will soon drop the Summer Fantasia update. This patch will introduce a new four-star character, Shikanoin Heizou, and allow players to claim a free Fischl. It is expected to launch on Tuesday, July 12, or Wednesday, July 13, depending on your time zone. After five hours of scheduled server downtime, the new Genshin Impact update should be available.

Genshin Impact 2.2.8 Release Date UK Launch:
Server Downtime starts at 11 pm UK Time on Tuesday, July 12, and ends at 4 am UK Time on Wednesday, July 13.
Genshin 2.8 European Launch: Server Downtime starts at midnight CEST on Wednesday, July 13, and ends at 5 am UK Time on Wednesday, July 13.
Genshin Impact 2.2.8 Release Date US Launch: Server Downtime starts at 3 pm pacific/6 pm eastern on Tuesday, July 12, and ends at 8 pm Pacific/11 pm Tuesday, July 12.
As a thank you for waiting to return online, players will receive a reward of 60 primogems each hour the servers are down.
HoYoverse has released an update notice describing the patch in the lead-up to Genshin Impact 2.2.8’s release date.
Genshin Impact 2.8 updates have one significant addition: a free Fischl character that can be claimed after completing in-game challenges.
Genshin Impact 2.2.8 will allow players to return to the Golden Apple Archipelago.

Accumulate a describe number of Iridescent Flotsam to invite “Prinzessin der Verurteilung!” Fischl (Electro)! You can exchange Iridescent Flotsam for rewards like Crown of Insight and Character Level-Up Materials.
