The legendary movie actor is taking over the role of former William Hurt. Harrison Ford joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is possibly one of the most significant casting decisions for the franchise thus far. The film reports that the iconic character from Indiana Jones and Star Wars is being tapped to play the role of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to play the character of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross initially played the part of William Hurt before the death of the actor earlier in the year.
Ford will play Ross in several films, his first expected to be in the forthcoming Captain America: New World Order before joining an ensemble cast.
