The students attending the training were handpicked from the deserving strata of society for uplifting them and providing them with a springboard to a better future. Welding and Carpentry activities are extensively required in industrial activities however, skilled qualified technicians in these fields are seldom found. To fill this gap and provide the youth with an opportunity for a brighter future, the Indian Army has rightly designed this training programme for the youth of Rajouri.
In a felicitation ceremony held on 26 November at the Indian Army Eagles Workshop on the culmination of the training, the youth were felicitated with Certificates and Welding Tool Kits by the Indian Army and Mr Qadeerul Rehman, Deputy Director, District Employment & Counseling Center, Rajouri. The students are happy to imbibe the technical skills under the tutelage of defenders of the country, which has taken up this novel initiative to provide an impetus to the human resource development of Rajouri and the upliftment of unemployed youth.
