Karan Johar, a popular subject on social media sites for one reason or the other, appears to have said goodbye to the popular social media platform Twitter. On the afternoon of Monday, Indian filmmaker and television celebrity known as KJo posted his final tweet on his Twitter page.
In his tweet, Johar stated that he wants to make space for positive energy and that removing himself from the platform is the first step towards that. So, he concluded the tweet by saying, ‘Goodbye Twitter!.’ This move may be a shock for some, or it’s necessary, given how much trolling the show’s Koffee with Karan host receives.
Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!— Karan Johar

Recently, KJo completed Koffee with Karan Season 7, in which he brought in some of the most well-known social media celebrities, including Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt and Niharika NM and Danish Sait. The show eventually turned into a light-hearted satire of the host. Guests pointed out obvious things that could be a source of irritation for the viewers.
From being averse to particular celebrities to urging the guest to speak about their private lives, Johar accepted all criticisms and responded with a smile, possibly with a few drops of sweat. Whatever the case, he was the subject of debate every week when fans debated the seasons of their favourite celebrities.
Even on his show Johar has discussed the snake emoji that appears on his Twitter account and even weighed in on the controversial issue of nepotism that was popularized by his guest in the season prior. In comparison, Johar has stated that he does not look at the trolling and memes, but it seems that he’s caught the attention of the internet and has decided to get away from the whole thing.
In the meantime, riding high off the success of Brahmastra, Karan Johar will next be the director of Alia Bhatt as well as Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which has wrapped filming a couple of weeks back.
