Canceled or Renewed?
Little Women, the latest weekend KDVrama, takes over Alchemy of Soul’s slot both on tvN as well as Netflix. The show is a delightfully twisted mix of drama, mystery, and murder, with many surprises. You may have followed this series for a while and wondered if it was renewed or canceled. Here’s what we know.
What’s Little Women Season 1 all about?
The story is basically about three sisters involved in a case that leads to them fighting against the most powerful and wealthy family in South Korea.
Kim Go-Eun (Nam Ji-Hyun) and Park Ji-Hu (Park Ji-Hu) will play the three poor sisters whose lives are changed by a missing 70 billion won case. Go-eun will portray the role of the oldest sister, who believes that money is powerful and wants an ordinary life free from the burden of poverty.
Ji-Hyun will portray the middle sister, who is an ambitious reporter. Ji-Hu will play the younger sister, an artist high school student.
Has Little Women been renewed for season 2?
As of the writing, tvN has not renewed Little Women season 2. Given the ratings, it will be interesting to see what happens if they do revive this show for a second season.
Although the ratings started with a decent 6.3% share in the US, they have steadily increased, with episodes reaching 8.6%.
We predict Little Women won’t be renewed for a second season, despite the lower ratings and shorter run-time (12 rather than 16) episodes.

Season 2:
Season 2 is still unknown. Most Korean dramas have only one season. It’s not common for them to be renewed. The rare exception is Love ft. Netflix, which has ongoing Netflix shows. The Hospital Playlist, Marriage, and Divorce, etc. It seems unlikely that the current one will be renewed.
However, Tale of the Nine-Tailed and Taxi Driver was renewed recently. Could this show break the current trend, given the steady ratings? It seems unlikely at the moment.
The possibility exists that actors may return to the role for a sequel or even a spin-off with the same characters. We believe that this will not continue, considering all this.
