Anil Kapoor pays tribute to Late Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary singer who shares a heartwarming story.
Anil Kapoor, actor and singer Anil Kapoor, shared a voice note from Late Mangeshkar on the occasion of Late Mangeshkar’s 93rd anniversary. Along with his voice message, he shared a touching reminder that was sure to bring back the memory of the legendary artist and her captivating voice. In February, Lata Mangeshkar died.
Jugjugg Jeeyo actor referred to the voice note as one of his most treasured possessions. He took it to share with the world in tribute to the most respected artists of the time.
Anil Kapoor shared a voice note from her on his Instagram account to pay tribute to her. In the voice note, she says,
“Mujhe bohot acha lagta hai aapka kaam, jisme bhi aapne kaam kiya hai maine woh sab filmein dekhein hai.” She further said, “aapki acting achi lagti hai, bhagwan kare aap aise hi rahe aur aap par ishwar ki bohot bohot kripa rahe, aap khush rahe , sukhi rahe aur aandmay rahe, bas yahi meri shubhkaamnaaye.”
The actor shared a video of himself with her that featured one of his most precious moments. He also wrote a touching note for the singer.
The caption he added to the post was, “On Lata Ji’s birth anniversary, want the world to listen to the voice note which is one my most treasured possessions…great people never forget that they are great human beings.

Lata Mangeshkar, known as the “Queen of Melody”, is the recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke award and Bharat Ratna. She is well-known for her outstanding contribution to music. Guinness World Record also listed her name as the most-recorded artist between 1948-1987. At 92, she died. “Saugandh Mujhe Is Mitti Ki” was her last recorded song. It paid tribute to the bravery of the Indian Army.
She was a singer in many Anil Kapoor songs, including Naina Yeh Barse and Saath Jayenge.
