Lily James joins “The Iron Claw” with Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson

The Von Erich family’s legacy will be the basis of the film.

Deadline reports that Lily James has joined The Iron Claw, which is being co-produced jointly by Access Industries and A24. It is not yet known what role she will play.

Although no further information has been released about her character, she joins the cast of previously announced cast members, which includes Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and Harris Dickinson, who both recently appeared in Where the Crawdads Sing. Jeremy Allen White, Maura Tierney, and Holt McCallany (Mindhunter) star in the film. Shawn Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) directed and wrote the film. Tessa Ross and Juliette Howell from House Productions serve as producers.

James starred in hit films like Disney’s live action remake of Cinderella, where she played the title role, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, a sequel to the 2008 musical. Recently, she played the role of Pamela Anderson, a real-life character, in Pam & Tommy. This Hulu miniseries also featured Sebastian Stan and Seth Rogen.

James will star in The Iron Claw alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Traci Lords (Excision), Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Traci Lords (Looper). Providence, an upcoming film directed by Potsy Ponciroli, also has James. Saverio Costanzo has also given her the lead role in Finalmente l’alba. In which she will be starring alongside Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Rachel Sennott and Willem Dafoe (The Northman), and Rachel Sennott (“Bodies, Bodies, Bodies”). With the talented actor now joining A24’s The Iron Claw, it is sure to be an exciting movie for viewers to watch when it comes out in the near future.
