The Emmy Award-winning actress was a breakout star in shows such as House of Cards as well as The Blacklist before finding widespread popularity by playing the title role on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. As Midge Brosnahan, the actress became known as a household name and sought-after actor. Her film credits include The Finest Hours, Patriots Day, and I’m Your Woman.
Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four will tell the story of the superheroes who haven’t been seen on screen since the critically acclaimed and commercially unsuccessful film released in 2015, which starred Peter Brosnahan’s House of Cards co-star Kate Mara as Sue Storm. This new Fantastic Four is currently in pre-production and has the release date set to be November 20, 2024. The film is set to debut in Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman as the director. But, despite having been in development for a long time, no casting announcements were made. There are plenty of rumors.
In an interview with ET Online, Brosnahan responded to speculation that she’s been contemplating an upcoming role as Storm. If asked if she’s interested in being a part of the team of a Marvel project such as Fantastic Four, she replies by saying, “Absolutely! It would be fun.” In regards to whether these rumors are true to them, she says:
I’ve not heard anything yet. However, I’m here. It’s the end of our season. I’m getting ready to join the team.

With the casting open in the air regarding Fantastic Four, It’s unclear who might bring the iconic group to the screen.
