RAMGARH, Oct 27, 2022: Apni Party Provincial President Jammu and Ex-Minister S. Manjit Singh today paid rich tributes to Brig Rajinder Singh at his native village Rajinder Singh Pura to remember his martyrdom.
As per the press statement, Manjit Singh was accompanied by Apni Party leader and candidate for Ramgarh, Adv Sahil Bhagat, Block President Ramgarh, Bachan Choudhary, Sarpanch Vijaypur, Joginder Lal, Ex-Sarpanch Channi, Sham Lal Bhagat, District President Youth Samba, Mangat Ram with a large number of PRIs and prominent people paid the rich tributes to Brig Rajinder Singh.
Manjit Singh remembered the contribution of Brig Rajinder Singh for defending the borders of J&K from the enemy forces and sacrificing his life for the motherland.
“His surprise sacrifice will be remembered by generations. The future generation is inspired by the way Brig Rajinder Singh led from the front and defeated the enemy with his bravery and protected the motherland with his supreme sacrifice,” he said.
On this occasion, he also demanded that the Central University should be named after Brig Rajinder Singh to give him honour. He said that his sacrifices could not be compared as he was the son of the soil who did not compromise the value of nationalism.
He said that Brig Rajinder Singh’s chapter should be included in the school books for the students to know about his work and sacrifice. He said the future generation should not forget its Bravehearts who defended the borders with their sacrifices.
Other participants also occasionally spoke and remembered the soldiers of the armed forces who defend the nation on the borders.
