Mass Marriage Organized By Sant Nirankari Mission 54 Couples Tie The Knot

Smalkha, November 24, 2022: After the conclusion of the 75th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in the holy presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, a mass wedding ceremony was organized by the Social Welfare Department of Sant Nirankari Mission, on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 11:00 am at Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex, Samalkha (Haryana). In this ceremony, a total of 54 couples tied the knot in the divine presence of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj who blessed the newly married couples and wished them a happy life ahead. Thousands of devotees, brides and grooms, along with their parents and relatives were present on this auspicious occasion.

In this simple ceremony, a traditional Jaimala was exchanged by the couples along with the special symbol of Nirankari marriage – the ‘Saanjha Haar’; they were blessed with it by the senior representatives of the Mission. Satguru Mata Ji showered flowers and divine blessings during the
ceremony on the brides and grooms. Along with their Satguru, even the relatives of the brides and the
grooms showered flowers. It was certainly a divine sight.

Mission’s third Satguru, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji gave special emphasis on simple marriages and His only aim was that we should restrain ourselves from unnecessary extravagance and expenditures. Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj is guiding all the devotees by taking forward this spirit of welfare.

On this auspicious occasion, a total of 54 couples from different states of India participated in
the Mass marriages; mainly from Assam, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir,
Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West
Bengal. After the mass marriage, the strategic arrangement of food for all was given by the Nirankari
Mission.

Giving blessings to newly married couples, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said that
following the teachings of the Mission, imbibing those divine qualities in one’s life, lead a loving family
life. While performing one’s duties in the family one has to show respect to everyone and adopt the
principles of the Mission and live with everyone in harmony.
