MAYOR FLAGS OFF A RALLY OF AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV FROM SARWAL

Jammu: 13 August. Shri Krishananad Public High School, Sarwal, Jammu celebrated “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the 75th year of independence on the 13th of August 2022 with great patriotic fervour and zeal.

Sh Chander Mohan Gupta, Hon’ble Mayor of JMC, distributed 200 triangas among the students. The Mayor, JMC, along with Sh Dinesh Gupta, Councilor of ward no. 18, Sh Onkar Singh, Sh Subash Gupta, Dr. Vikrant, the management staff and students of the school and other prominent citizens of the locality, flagged off the Trianga rally.

Speaking on the occasion, the mayor stated that every citizen of Jammu, regardless of caste, creed, or religion, including children, is participating with great enthusiasm and interest in celebrating “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” by organising cycle or motorcycle rallies, hoisting national flags on top of their houses, offices, schools, buildings, or respective stations, as well as participating in painting or singing competitions.

The rally culminated with the singing of the National Anthem and the distribution of sweets among the students and participants, which was followed by a vote of thanks by Sh. Om Parkash Gupta, Founder and Managing Committee.
