To begin with, a student needs to enrol with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to appear in the first level, i.e., the Common Proficiency Test, also known as the CPT test, after 10 classes. Students can, however, appear for the CPT examination only after they have appeared for their Senior Secondary Examination (10+2).
