Vijaypur 16 th June: Police Technical Training Institute Vijaypur installed a water Cooler along with a water purifier at Baba Hasal Dev Stadium, Gurha Slathia of District Samba to facilitate the players and general public of the area under the Civic Action Programme. Shri Khalil Ahmed Poswal, JKPS, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur inaugurated the Water Cooler.
While speaking on the occasion, Principal PTTI Vijaypur said that such programmes are being organized under the directions of worthy DGP J&K under the Civic Action Programme to improve police-public relations. He advised the young blood/children of the area to channel their energies for constructive purposes rather than their
inclination toward Anti-national/Anti-Social organizations. Shri Baljinder Singh, District Sports Officer Samba, Shri Sudharshan Singh Slathia, DDC member and management of Baba Hassal Dev Stadium conveyed their gratitude to the Police Department for providing Water Cooler and Water Purifier for use by the players and general public.
On this occasion, PTTI also organized a “Chabeel” and offered cold and sweat drinking water to the general public and children of the area given hot weather conditions. Prominent Persons/ Locals of the area appreciated the efforts of the Principal and staff members of PTTI Vijaypur. Among others Shri Rajinder Singh Rahi, SP, Vice-Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Shri Satish Kumar, Dy.SP (Admn./Outdoor), Inspr. Pawan Parihar (RI/CDI) Inspr. Manoj Kumar Bali, SI Shahbaz Ahmed, Shri Jagdeep Singh Slathia (Social worker), Retired Police/Army officers, Members of guidance and Counseling Cell Gurha Slathia, local citizens, children and others were present on the occasion.
