The School Health Day Program has been running successfully in Health Block Kandi, where students are provided health services in their schools.
This program has been going on continuously for the past several months under Dr. Iqbal Malik, BMO Kandi’s supervision. Every Saturday is celebrated as School Health Day.
The weekly series is being organized under the directions of the Director of Health Services Jammu, Dr. Saleem Ur Rahman, and Dr. Hamid Zargar, CMO Rajouri.
Health screening and treatment are provided along with counseling to adolescent boys and girls. Iron & calcium tablets are distributed, including Lab services, Blood Grouping, and HB testing are also provided. Besides, proper technique of hand washing is demonstrated to the students.
