Self Defense and Yoga Sessions conducted at G.G.M Science College

NSS Govt. Gandhi Memorial Science College organized self defense andYoga sessions on campus under the patronage principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo andNSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan’s guidance as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, 9ThDay of the summer camp

To address gender discrimination concerns, the Indian government created the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), scheme in 2015. andWomen empowerment in the country. The primary importance of self-defense is for women to be able to protect themselves against anything unacceptable in terms of social conduct.

Nothing is more motivating than being able to assess a dangerous situation with confidence andYou can take action to defeat them. Self-defense training helps girls to be more aware and in control of their surroundings. andBe prepared for the unexpected atYou can change your mind at any time.

Around 30 girls students andNSS male volunteers were present for this self-defense session. The session was conductedDivyansh, a Black belt NSS volunteer. The yoga session was conductedSanchit Sharma, a volunteer at NSS, as part of Yoga Mahotsav. NSS volunteers performed various yoga asanas.
