The NSS unit and Board for Sports Activities were organized. Cycle RallyCelebrate “World Bicycle Day”. The Vande Maatram song, performed by students, was the opening act. Vice-Chancellor was the chief guest. SMVDU, Prof. R.K. Sinha. flagged the rally.
He addressed the gathering as well. onThe rally was organized to highlight the importance of cycling and encourage everyone to cycle. It began at 6:30 AM. Around 40 to 50 students participated in the event, while around 100 students marched past the event with bikes raising slogans.
Participants were enthusiastic. Refreshments were also distributed after the rally. The National anthem was played at the end of the event. The event was also attended by Dr. Hari Govind Mishra (Dean Student Welfare); Dr. Rajiv Kul, NSS Programme Officer; President BSA, Dr. Parvez Singh; and Mr. Surender Singh (Security Officer).
