The new MORTAL KOMBAT video celebrates 30 years of bloody fun

Warner Bros. Games and Nether Realm Studios are happy to celebrate thirty years of the cult Mortal Kombat franchise. Beginning with the arcade game’s launch on October 8th, 1992, the series has grown to include many fun animated series, animated films, and films without a never-ending goal. The most recent installment of the line, Mortal Kombat 11, has sold 15 million copies, while MK Mobile has had an impressive 150 million downloads. People who own the game on their mobile devices should log in daily from now through October 14th to get the chance to receive free anniversary presents.

In celebration of the event’s anniversary, a brand new video showcases the series’ various media formats over the decades. Combining scenes from the initial MK game to Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal Kombat film (1995) as well as Mortal Kombat movie (1995) and Mortal Kombat movie (2021), it’s a blast to watch. It’s not my first time being a massive MK fan, but I enjoy watching how the franchise has evolved over time. If you’re a big fan, go through the video below, and enjoy watching how the utter chaos of the games has developed through the years.
