While reading, we have to remember the names of places and characters that  belong to the given story as well as their behaviour. If you read a book for days, you will have to remember every single detail of the story  by the time you finish it to understand the meaning fully. Therefore, reading serves as a workout that develops the memory function of your brain.

2.Reading is a form of free Entertainment

Did you know that books are the basis of many TV shows and movies? So why do we not immerse ourselves in such reading and enjoy original form of entertainment. What is more important is that reading books is absolutely free for everyone and one of the most beneficial forms of entertainment that can be enjoyed as much as you want.

3.Reading improves the ability to Concentrate

It is undeniable that we can not read without concentration, and it is especially necessary to fully understand the meaning. In the developed word, many people’s attention is easily distracted by gadgets, and that’s why we humans need to regularly practice concentration. Reading is one of the activities that requires undivided attention, and  therefore, improves the ability of concentration.

4.Reading improves Literacy

Books allow you to improve your vocabulary in the language by learning new words. The more books you read, the more words you will learn, and through this you will learn to  communicate effectively. In addition, reading can also help to improve your writing skills by introducing you to different writing styles.

5.Reading reduces Stress and improves Sleep

The book has such a power that it will make you travel from the life full of worries to another world where is filled with fun and joy while reading it. By this, a person can get rid of stress, calm his brain and ,as a result, can improve the quality of sleep. It is clear that a person can sleep well only when his mind is calm. That’s why we should train our brain to calm down by reading.

Besides, if we make it a habit to read a little before bed, our brain will get used to it, and when you pick up a book and start reading, it will remind your brain that it is time to rest. This ensures that you will have an enjoyable night out.

6.Reading is Motivational

In the book, as we get acquainted with the characters who are facing various difficulties and trying to overcome, we will automatically learn some life principles from them. What does it mean? It means that if the reader is faced with some of the problems in life that he witnessed in the book, he will immediately remember that character and most likely follow the path that he took. Because, some characters become heroes for many readers by encouraging them to never give up as well as  stay positive and their actions become a motivation.

7.Reading teaches Empathy

Books allow us to experience realities outside of our perspective. They teach us to relate to others by often putting us in the shoes of narrator. This simple technique is called empathy. Empathy is defined as the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
