Dua Lipa is an English pop musician and singer. She was born in London on the 22nd of August 1995. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa. The oldest of three children, Dua got her start in music after watching her dad, who was the guitarist and singer of the Kosovan rock group named Oda. After learning to play various instruments, such as the cello, Dua began to focus on singing and lessons at age nine. While focusing on her singing, Dua and her family relocated to Kosovo in 2008 following Kosovo’s declaration of independence. However, by age 15, Dua returned to London, uploaded her music to YouTube, and started modeling with Top Shop.
