Daughter (*10*) with mother’s body for 10 days

The old bodySunita Dixit (retired HAL engineer) was finally rescued from her Indira Nagar home after neighbors reported a foul-smelling room.

Ankita Dixit (26 years old) was found in another room of the house. Police suspect she is either mentally unsound or in a traumatic condition.

Prachi Singh, Additional DCP North Zone, said that the cops heard a woman’s voice as they entered the open space. They knocked the doors, but the woman refused. A carpenter was called to open the door. The cops were stunned to see the girl looking confused in one room. The girl couldn’t talk about the contents of the room or the source of the foul odor emanating from the closed door. Sunita was found dead in the room’s doorway.

The ADCP stated that the bodyTen seemed to be the case days old.

Police also reported that Sunita had divorced Rajnish Dixit, her husband and secretariat worker in 1999.
