JAMMU, Sep 15: Sarpanch Balvir Kour in her constant efforts to provide clean drinking water to the people of panchayat today started construction work of a tube-well at Village Treva worth Rs 3.29 Crores.
Speaking on the occasion Balvir Kour said that clean drinking water is the basic necessity of the public and the same was the demand of the people of panchayat for whom after continuous efforts this important project was sanctioned and finally the work started. She said by the end of this year all households of Panchayati will have the facility of clean drinking water.
Sarpanch Balvir Kaur in her address thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and all officials of the PHE department who have played a crucial role in the project. Officials of the PHE Department, Naib Sarpanch, Panches and other prominent people of the panchayat were present during the occasion.
