GHSS Shastri Nagar’s Girls showed talent in zonal level essay writing competition: In the zonal level essay competition held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Pul Tawi, Karmankshi, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, has secured the first position, while Irfan, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bahufort, has stood second.

Similarly, Usha Devi, a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Surinsar and Simran Kumari, a student of Government Girls’ High School, Digiana, stood third. These girls had written their essays on drug addiction. The competition was held on 13th September. Geetu Bangotra, Principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar congratulated Karmankshi and wished her a bright future. He also appreciated the efforts of teacher Monika Jamwal.

He said that it is a matter of pride for the school that the girls are making the school and their parents proud by doing better in every field. Karmanakshi has been successful in showcasing her talent in many competitions in the past, for which she gives credit to the school management, teachers and parents. Bangotra also congratulated Tania and her parents, who topped the essay writing on Covid-19.

At the same time, Tania of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar stood first in the essay writing competition on Covid-19 responsive behaviour in the school. On the other hand, Arpana of Government High School Pul Tawi and Ankita of Government High School Digiana secured the third position. Congratulating all the girls, the school management expressed hope that these girls will make everyone proud by doing better in future
