Camp for Summary Revision of Electoral Roll in Ward-69 of Sainik Colony

BJP is celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 72nd birthday on 17 September by organizing a Seva Pakhwada (service fortnight) till 2 October, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. During the fortnight, party workers will take part in various welfare activities like vaccination, cleanliness, tree plantation, etc., and spread awareness about various welfare schemes of the State and Centre Govt. 

A Seva Pakhwada was organized in Ward-69 of Sainik Colony for a special summary revision of electoral photo rolls of residents of Ward-69 of Sainik Colony. The public filed applications for inclusion, deletion, correction of names from electoral rolls, and linking of Aadhaar Card with Voter Card. Voters who have attained the age of 18 years should register themself by filling out Form No 6.

Corporator Gurmeet Kour Randhawa informed the gathering that the draft electoral roll is available with the BLOs and at the office of the Electoral Registration Officers. According to the schedule, claims and objections, if any, can be filed till 25th October, while the final publication of electoral rolls will be made on 25th November.
